Hosei University has approved three students Shoko Minekawa, Keisuke Nagashima, and Chika Suefuji from Professor Hasegawa\u2019s seminar class for a year abroad program.<\/p>\n

Shoko Minekawa was accepted for study at Truman State University, Keisuke Nagashima, Boise State University, and Chika Suefuji, the University of California, Davis.<\/p>\n

They are three out of 30 students who have been accepted by Hosei University for one year study in colleges and Universities in China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the U.S.A.<\/p>\n

Each one of them will have their tuition fees for the their accepted universities paid by Hosei University, and will also receive scholarship up to 1 million yen, which is about $ 10,000.<\/p>\n

I am very glad to be accepted to this program, since studying abroad using this program was always my goal ever since I entered Hosei University.
\nIn Truman State University, I am particularly looking forward to studying African and Asian regional studies, as well as Human Rights and Gender issues.
\nFor the next 9 months till I go to Truman, I will spend my time reading books and textbooks on political science written in English, so as to make my year abroad more meaningful.<\/p>\n

I sincerely appreciate Hosei University for providing us such a great program, and for giving me such a great opportunity to study in the University of California, Davis.
\nI am especially interested in the Migration issues in the USA and how the world would deal with this problem as a Global issue. I strongly think it is very interesting and definitely a great opportunity for me to think about these issues in USA, where it is called the \u201cMelting Pot\u201d.
