On September 6, the Timor-Leste Dili Administrator, Mr. Ruben Braz, met with Professor Hasegawa of Hosei University and informed him about the improving situation in his district. The District Administrator informed Hasegawa that the Government provided each district with funds for development in a similar way as RESPECT which had been supported by the Government of Japan in 2003-2005. A council of village representatives reviewed proposals for funding.
