and Founding Executive Director of the Centre for the Study of United Nations of Jindal
Global University of India spoke about the foreign policies developed and implemented by
the leaders of major countries such as the United States, China, Russia and India to protect
and advance their national interests as perceived by them. He gave detailed explanations
how the doctrine of the Responsibility to Protect (R2P) was developed and used for
humanitarian and political purposes. He then responded to comments and questions made
by the students.
