2011年4月26日のゼミでは、カンボジア特別法廷国際上級審判事の野口元郎様をゲストスピーカーとしてお招きし、講義していただきました。野口様には、国際刑事裁判の歴史から、カンボジア特別法廷、国際正義が国際刑事裁判の文脈のなかでどのように行使されてきたかを説明していただきました。過去の概略だけでなく、現在のカンボジアの市民の状況、タブー視されていた内戦やジェノサイドの事実をどのように次世代に伝えていくのかという取り組みなどを詳細に教えていただきました。（臼井崇人）
On April 26th, we invited Mr. Motoo Noguchi, an international judge of the Supreme Court Chamber at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC). He made a presentation about how the international justice has been exercised the international courts. Mr. Nogchi provide us with not only an outline of its history but also circumstances of current situation of Cambodia. He also explained the significance of what the government officials and people tell facts of the genocides toward next generation. (Takato Usui)
【ゼミ活動】４月１２日（火） 平和構築の意義
長谷川ゼミナールは本日2011年4月12日13:30-17:00に富士見坂校舎F310において今年度初のゼミ授業を行いました。長谷川祐弘教授はまず初めに”平和”の概念がどのように変遷してきたのか説明された。平和とは、人間がただ単に死の恐怖から逃れ、安全な環境で人間らしく生きていける為の最低条件を満たすのみならず、人間としての尊厳を保ちながら生きていける状態であると述べられた。そして、国家の安全から人間の安全保障への移行、そして「人権」や「自由民主主義」の概念が、国連の平和構築活動の統合化にどのように影響を与えてきたかを説明された。（加藤美翔）

On March 26, Professor Sukehiro Hasegawa, Ms. Akari Kano, and eight students from the Hasegawa seminar class discussed the implications of Japan’s massive earthquake and nuclear power plant issue. Professor Hasegawa spoke to a group of trainees attending the peacebuilding training program held in Hiroshima. Organized by the HIroshima Peacebuilders with funds provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the training course had 30 trainees from several countries including China.

On Tuesday 15 February 2011, Minister of Finance of Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste Emilia Pires made a comprehensive presentation on “Accomplishments and Challenges of a Post-Conflict Country” at a seminar organized by the Institute of Sustainability and Peace of the United Nations University in Tokyo. 【国際機構論】1月28日（金） 国際機構論期末テスト
法政大学では今が試験シーズンです。２０１１年１月２８日(金)の午後３時５０分より１時間半にわたり、５５年館５３２教室で国際機構論の期末試験が行われました。設問はすべて論述形式で出題され、国際機関の役割がどのように変遷してきたか、９月から１月までの後期に学習した知識がどの程度、理解され概念として定着しているのかを再確認しました。（加藤美翔）
【NEWS】Hiroshima Civilian Peacebuilders Training
Professor Hasegawa delivered lectures to 20 trainees at a training seminars organized by the Hiroshima Peacebuilders. The training seminar was funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Professor Hasegawa explained the integrated peacebuilding mission approach as well as the leadership roles and competencies required of the Special Representatives of the Secretary-General and Resident Coordinators of the UN system in post-conflict countries.

本日は、長谷川ゼミ本年度最後の授業を行いました。1限目に長谷川教授より年頭の挨拶を頂き、ゼミ試験、ゼミ論文の提出が行われました。2限目には、2011年度ゼミ生幹部生、OB/OG会の理事会の選挙が行われ、更にMark Downes氏にお越しいただき、Security Sector Reform (SSR)についてプレゼンして頂きました。（三須純スウネ）
On January 11, Mr. Mark Downes, the Head of the International Security Sector Advisory Team (ISSAT) and the Assistant Director of the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of the Armed Forces (DCAF), visited Hosei University and made an informative presentation on the subject of Security Sector Reform (SSR). He responded to questions asked by Hosei students.
【国際機構論】1月11日(火) 長谷川教授による今期最後の講義が行われました。
本日は長谷川教授が今年度最後の授業を行い、一年間の総括講義をされました。世界を治めている主権国家はなぜ自らの行動を規制する国際機関を設立したのか、そしてグローバリゼーションの中でより重要になってきている役割について講義されました。また、国際機関が設立された四つの理念や地球規模課題に対する国際機関の役割とは何かについて詳しく説明されました。（橋本佳奈）

本日は、世界銀行駐日代表谷口和繁様と国際協力機構バングラデシュ事務所の丸山隼人様にお越しいただきました。1時限目には、『天然資源への依存から脱却し持続可能な経済発展をとげるための方法とは』のテーマの下、開発経済班がプレゼンを行いました。2時限目には、谷口様に『G20の役割と課題』のテーマの下、ご講義いただきました。

【シンポジウム】2010.12.19 International Symposium on Prospect for Stability in East Asia
An international symposium organized by G-GAP was held on 19 December 2010 at Arcadia Hall Ichigaya. The purpose of the symposium was to assess the challenges and potentials for achieving stability in East Asia. Several distinguished scholars and professionals from South Korea, China, Russia and USA joined Japanese professors and specialists on global and Asian politics.(Akari Kanou)
【国際機構論】12月14日(火) OECD東京センター中谷好江様に御講演頂きました。
本日の国際機構論では、OECD東京センターより中谷好江様にお越し頂きました。講義では、OECDの活動内容は防衛を除くありとあらゆる分野を網羅しているが故に、縦横無尽に取り組めることが最大の強みであることやコンセンサス方式を採用していること、またOECDが日本の政策に与える影響などについて幅広くお話して下さいました。中でも、学生からの質問が活発に出た生徒の学習到達度調査（PISA）については、最近2009年の結果が発表されたこともあり、実際の問題例などの具体例を挙げて詳しく御説明されました。（光達由菜）
【卒業生】12月11日（土） 法政大学長谷川ゼミOB/OG会
12月11日(土)に第二回法政大学長谷川ゼミOB/OG会がSTEW KETTLE REBIRTH(渋谷区)にて開催されました。
長谷川教授、卒業生、現学生並びにゼミ活動に寄与してくださった関係者の総勢41名が参加し、当時を懐かしみながらの会食を楽しまれました。
会では、日頃ゼミ活動に人事を尽くしているゼミ生に教授から功労賞が与えられるなどしました。
また、多くの卒業生の皆様から現状や経験を踏まえた学生への激励の言葉を頂きました。
